The house we designed on Summit Drive which is currently under construction holds examples of our interest in both functionality and innovation. An unusual door was needed to separate the wide gallery interior walkway from the exterior pool area; a door that was also a glass wall.  We installed a 1,000 lb. Renlita door. This over 10' by 10' Floataway Door is a single leaf door with two glass panels and a frame constructed from hollow steel sections. Counterweights built into the wall on either side balance the door under constant suspension. It glides up and away at the touch of a switch - no wall, no door, but a wide open invitation to the patio and pool.
